About Us
Wellness Homes of Chicago and Baal Perazim Wellness, Inc. launched in 2018 to provide access to resources needed to promote wellness, and has six different locations, as well as several mobile programs in the Chicagoland area. We have a long standing commitment to serving the LGBTQ+community, and our work has been essential in providing crucial resources and support to address the needs of this diverse population. Our guiding principle is to provide care that impacts the mind, body, and soul.
The Malenesss Health and Wellness Summit is a natural progression of our efforts, given the significant health disparities faced by Black, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender men.

To empower Black, gay, bisexual, and transgender men by fostering physical, mental and social well-being through advocacy, education, and community support.

A world where Black, gay, bisexual, and transgender men experience holistic health and well-being free from stigma, discrimination, and health disparities.
The Malenesss Health and Wellness Summit is dedicated to mobilizing communities and empowering Black GBT men to take action towards their health and wellness. We strive to:
- Provide actionable steps and resources tailored to the unique health and wellness, inequalities, and disparities faced by this community.
- Offer safe and inclusive spaces with accessible resources, shared experiences, and opportunities for connection.
- Inspire positive change in all aspects of their lives.
- Increase access to vital services within their communities.
- Build a coalition to work together to promote the health and well being of Black gay, bisexual, and transgender men.
