Building Something That Lasts
At Malenesss, our mission has always been bigger than a single event.
We exist to create spaces where Black gay, bisexual, queer, transgender, and same-gender-loving men can access meaningful conversations around health, wellness, leadership, healing, and community. Every decision we make is guided by our commitment to building a platform that creates lasting impact—not just memorable moments.
After careful evaluation of our long-term vision and sustainability goals, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to postpone our full-scale Malenesss Summit 2026 to 2027.
While this announcement may come as a disappointment to many who have supported and anticipated this year’s summit, we believe this strategic decision is the strongest path forward for our community and our mission.
Why We Made This Decision
As Malenesss continues to grow, we have chosen to transition toward a self-funded and financially independent model.
This strategic pivot allows us to:
· Preserve the integrity of our mission.
· Build a sustainable organization that is not dependent on external funding cycles.
· Deliver a world-class experience for our speakers, attendees, sponsors, and partners.
· Invest in long-term programming rather than short-term compromises.
· Create a summit that reflects the excellence our community deserves.
Rather than compromising our vision because of financial limitations or external pressures, we are investing this time in strengthening our foundation so that the 2027 summit can be more impactful than ever before.
Our Mission Continues
Although the flagship summit has been postponed, Malenesss is not slowing down.
Over the coming year, our community can continue to expect opportunities to learn, connect, and grow through:
· Virtual conversations with thought leaders and experts
· Educational workshops and wellness programming
· Leadership development sessions
· Community health initiatives
· Smaller, high-impact micro-events across our network
These experiences will continue advancing our mission of promoting:
· Health and wellness
· Mental health awareness
· Leadership development
· Community empowerment
· Authentic connection
Every conversation, event, and initiative will continue moving us toward the larger vision of Malenesss.
Looking Ahead to 2027
The postponement is an investment in the future.
By taking the necessary time to strengthen our organizational foundation today, we are creating the conditions for a summit that is larger in impact, stronger in execution, and more sustainable for years to come.

To create one of the leading health, wellness, and leadership platforms dedicated to empowering Black gay, bisexual, queer, and same-gender-loving men.
We are excited for what lies ahead and look forward to welcoming our community to an unforgettable Malenesss Summit in 2027.
